Industrial Hemp and CBD dominate cannabis is legal to grow in NYS. Next year by all reports recreational cannabis will be legal. The growers license is around $250K. The farm I hunt on grows hops and cannabis licensed by NYS. The state is helping the farmers out big time with biologists from Cornell Ag going to each farm to help farmers get the best crop. Those aren't little Christmas trees in that field. The plants have double the amount of CBD of what the industry refers to as high grade. Legalization will be a huge help to local farmers. Per acer cannabis is 2-3x more than any crop they currently can grow.

We’ve got several hemp fields around here in western KY. I drive past several almost daily and have never seen deer out there. Doesn’t mean they don’t tho! Just never seen em

Next year here. It didn't happen this year because the state couldn't figure out how to divide the tax revenue. They've got it pretty much figured out now.
Also at least 3 towns are considering processing plants. Huge opportunity for one of only two places in the country still in a recession.

I also have a medical card in NY. (My High School was built on a contaminated former industrial site. I had PCB toxisity that led to Osteoarthritis. I've taken so many NSAI's I'm allergic to them. Steroids just made may joint worst. I'm 42 and have two hip replacements sooo.)
The cannabis from the farm smells and tastes like Grape Hubba Bubba gum.

Does your state allow concealed carry? They offer the medical card here in Florida but the way i read it is you'll lose your ccw rights. Not sure if this is 100% accurate i didn't fully research.
