Just put a deposit on one. I’m new to compound bows but I shot it and it feels great. The owner of the bow shop said there aren’t many bows that perform as well as this does for its price. Curious if anyone owns or shot one who can give feedback.

I have the hoyt torrex xt. I bought it last year.

I upgraded from an old bear.

It works well in the saddle. The bow is deadly accurate. Shooting easton 330's. I've put a lot of shots from 20-40 downrange. It is pretty smooth.

Here is a 40 yard shot I made

I haven't taken a live shot at a deer yet -- hope to this season

you made a good choice!

It's not "the best" or "the newest hotness" but it does what it does very well. Took my first archery deer with it last year and if I do my part, it'll group 1" per 10y or better. I've also been an idiot and dry fired at full draw bucking the strings off the cams with no damage to anything but my ego. I put a Spot-Hogg 3-pin Grinder sight and a SAS 5" stabilizer on it but nothing else. It's set at 60# with a 28.5" draw.

The "chase the shiny things" in me wants a shorter ATA but the better side in me says don't replace what ain't broke.

I have one and I absolutely love it . I shot 7 deer with it last year . Deadly accurate , light and dependable
