Anyone spray paint their sticks?

I always spray paint my stuff with camo paint to dull it down I think it works and gives me confidence. I’m primarily a one sticker but I traded for some nice sticks this year and rather then vet wrapping four whole sticks or stealth stripping them, I sprayed truck bed liner on them, four coats over the course of several hours and let that completely cure for a day or so. Then I did a top coat of OD green, tan and brown regular camo dull spray paint. The bed liner paint has a urethane base that is almost somewhat rubbery and it really, surprisingly quiets them down considerably. You still have to be careful but the clanging is now a dull thud much like a fully stealth stripped piece.

Thanks for sharing - never thought of the bed liner spray / this is why I love these forums - sharing ideas

That bed liner spray is not cheap so be sure to not fall over when you see the price! I think it will be a pretty durable finish too though. I also sprayed up an EDP while I did the sticks, just the platform part not the upright.

I done a camera and bracket with primer (flat colors) using a few bunched up plastic grocery bags. Spray some paint on a bag, take the crumpled up bag and dab in the paint, then dab it as you see fit. No wrong way.
EDIT: The silver/gray parts were taped off (moving parts, lens, touch screen, buttons)
