Has anyone here used asat brand insulated bibs or jackets? How are they for late season bow hunting? I live in west michigan and we have already seen temps in the mid teens. Just hoping for a little review before i pull the trigger. I was thinking about the first lite gear but don't like the price and I really like asat camo. So is asat any good or should I just bite the bullet and buy the first lite gear.

I never had the insulated bibs but had some of there other products. I want to be honest, I was really unimpressed. For was really funky and didn’t care for the quality. I love the pattern and still have some first lite asat.

I bought it from ASAT trying save money but I wish I would’ve just spent the money and gotten something higher quality. Which I ended up doing anyway.

First Lite is a great option. If you want the ASAT pattern, Dayone Camo sells decent stuff. I have a pair of asat pants from them I really like. Grey wolf woolens has asat also and is extremely high quality.

I hunt in Northern MI a few times every year and mid to late season I wear the FL Sanctuary stuff a lot. It’s COLD up there lol

I go as far north as manistee to and it gets cold lol. Haven't ever hunted the U.P for whitetail. Kinda hoping the sanctuary stiff comes on sale soon.

I only use the asat pattern.... the companys gear looks like sh1t quality.

First Lite does not carry it any more.

The pattern itself is amazing at breaking up your outline.

I just bought the bibs and a vest from ASAT. The quality seems fine to me. I have some First Lite ASAT too. Only used the bibs a couple of times and I think they did the trick. The vest I have worn practically every hunt and it’s great!

I love the ASAT pattern, the quality directly from ASAT is questionable. I have the Elite Jacket and pants along with the G2 pants. Also have 2 jackets from Firstlite (wished they still had ASAT), and some ASAT from Dayone. The Dayone Camo is good stuff, well made I would contact them. They sew them as orders come in. Its generally a 30-60 day window from order to delivery.

I have the elite pants and jacket and like others have mentioned above, I was not impressed. Strange fit, very little stretch, not very durable and not warm at all for the thickness of the material. As much as I love the ASAT pattern, I switched to predator and cabelas wooltimate. That wooltimate stuff is hard to beat in terms of what you get for your money.

Every bow hunter should own the Asat leafy suit!!! Other than that I have not been too impressed with their offerings.
