Assist with adding Ropeman 1 to Tethrd linesman belt

I purchased a tethrd linesman belt and a ropeman 1. I am having a tough time getting the knot undone so I can remove the prussic and add the ropeman 1. Can someone assist with this? Thanks

You shouldn't have to undo the knot. A prussic can simply be unwound off the rope. The Ropeman 1 will open up the be put anywhere on the rope. Take caribiner out of Ropeman, open up and put around rope, then put caribiner back in.

You do not need to untie that stopper knot. Remove the carabineer from the prusik, and unwind the prusik. Then clip on the Ropeman and feed your carabineer through there.

We've all been there. Never be afraid to ask questions. I can't tell you how much help this forum has been to me. Once you get your gear assembled, practice, practice, practice. It all takes a little getting used to. Season 2 for me and still learning. Gets a little easier every time. Get comfortable with practice before going afield and you'll be glad you did and safer.
