ATV winch rope.

Has anyone used ATV winch rope in place of amsteel or others? They have it on Ebay for $25/50'. I'm thinking of trying it for my sticks. I'll have to cut off the metal loop but cheaper alternative

I have used it, no issues. I switched to 7/64 daisy chain, but simply for preference

Amsteel is winch line. Not sure amsteels original use/intended use but i switched out my winch cable to amsteel 10+ years ago
 
I figured as much but wanted to make 100% sure. I'm going to use the cheaper winch rope to attach my climbing sticks to the tree.
