Covert have been my best cameras by a very large margin

In my neck of the woods (Appalachian mountains) a 115-120 is five years old. Highly unlikely this buck gets a pass. He’s mainly moved on but I do have an August picture, he’s probably 130-ish (pretty sure it’s the same buck).
Low-Mid range Coverts make up the bulk of my camera inventory. They’re better than most IMO.

I'm actually looking at maybe a spartan.... hate to spend that but looks to be the best.
Looks like I have my first buck thats found the mock scrape.
yes. I just cut a branch off and tied it to another branch to hang down.Do you have a licking branch over that scrape?

Come to think of it I got a fisher on video several times last year jumping up trying to get the licking branch I hung at a mock scrape. I have to admit that the moose and bear were a surprise to me though.Everything uses a community scrape.. all year too..
Like this buck, check the date..View attachment 69939
And this moose..View attachment 69940
And finally this bear..

Scrapes are often a topic of confusion for many, most are a complete waste of time, some are the holy grail, a good scrape is like the Facebook for the animal kingdom lol.
