gonna be a nice one if you are able to let him walk this year! How do you like the Covert cameras?

In my neck of the woods (Appalachian mountains) a 115-120 is five years old. Highly unlikely this buck gets a pass. He’s mainly moved on but I do have an August picture, he’s probably 130-ish (pretty sure it’s the same buck).

Low-Mid range Coverts make up the bulk of my camera inventory. They’re better than most IMO.

Covert have been my best cameras by a very large margin

Not 100% sure as it’s several years old but it’s definitely black flash. I can look it up if you really want me to??

Scrapes are often a topic of confusion for many, most are a complete waste of time, some are the holy grail, a good scrape is like the Facebook for the animal kingdom lol.
Come to think of it I got a fisher on video several times last year jumping up trying to get the licking branch I hung at a mock scrape. I have to admit that the moose and bear were a surprise to me though.

I get regular visits from bears, raccoons, coyotes and possum in our scrapes. Crazy how active they can be.
