So Mitch had a weather checked antler in a box that was obviously stained and not fooling John.

But, Wildlife Gallery could field alter antlers and we'd never know?

I haven't finished the podcast, but is the thesis that Mitch was a poor taxidermist or that he is taxidermy's Keyser Soze?

(Frank Newmyer at Wildlife Gallery is a heck of a taxidermist, btw. But I question that statement with respect to techniques, methods, and materials from 1998. Maybe the best of the best could have, certainly not Mitch).

Not challenging John, but I don't know how the two statements add up to anything. Maybe that comes later?
