I didn't do any hunting in the first several weeks of the season cause it was just too darn hot. Finally the weather cooled down to the point where I was going to go out for the first time. I loaded up my saddle gear in the Jeep and thought I had better take a few practice shots. (Guilty as charged. I don't shoot as often as I should, but that's gonna change!) I went to pull my bow back and the string wouldn't budge more than an inch! WTH! Looked at my bow to see if something was horribly wrong. Nope. It's me! Yeah, I'm 60 but I never struggled at all before. I researched to see how much I could safely back out the limb bolts and backed them out all I could. Could just barely get it back. Did some exercises every day and can finally shoot. So, don't make the same mistake as I did, especially if you are old like me! I can't wait to get out there!
