Getting back into saddle hunting after about 7 years away. I used to hunt in a trophyline saddle. Served its purpose for mobile hunts. The problem I had with it, is when I bought it the only sizes that trophyline had left was a small. I found the saddle to be intolerable for a sit longer than 2-3 hours. Last year I got a millennium stand and for comfort, its the best thing I've ever used. I hunt more mobile now than I have the last few years. The light stand is great but I really want to get back to saddle hunting for those really tough hikes in. Ordered a mantis a couple weeks ago. I cant wait until it gets here. I live and hunt in northern lower Michigan.

Welcome from Louisiana!

I just played with my Mantis for the first time last night. I think your going to love it! It's not millennium comfortable, but for a long hike you can't beat it.
