I looked on the "official backpack thread" and nobody has shared anything about the pursuit pack. I bought it and so far love it. Yes, the zippers are a little loud, and they're a little tedious to mess with, I guess maybe I have low pack standards because I've always used an el cheapo from academy. But the thing fits everything I need to take into the woods, with my predator inside the main compartment, (and room to stick my saddle and ropes in the main compartment as well) and I have the ability to strap heavier cold weather gear to the bottom of the pack. I don't foresee it being the best pack for carrying sticks, but I just purchased 5 WE steps and waiting on a knaider/swaider, I feel like the WE steps in a kydex holster, and predator inside the pack would make it a super compact and light option. I imagine if I don't have a knack for the WE steps I'll try out something like the X2 for carrying my sticks, but this is atleast my goal set up for next year. Carrying meat out isn't really a concern for the majority of my hunting as the ranger is likely less than a mile away from where I'm hunting. I'm curious as to whether anyone else has used this same set up or some other variation with the pursuit pack.

I use the Pursuit to carry my mini stick and/or platform plus gear, depending on how or where I'm hunting...

This is my first year with it. Although the zippers are a pain, it carries well on the back. One more year of testing to get a full feel for it.

I seen that review right after I got it. I understand his opinion of it, and while I'm sure there are much better packs out there, if this one fits my needs I'm going to stick with it. I couldn't pass up a $50 Badlands pack when they had their 50% off sale. Ive paid more than that for a cheapo at academy that busted stitches during the first week of hunting with it.

Could I strap four beast sticks and an erinie platform to the outside with the two straps? That’s how I pack in my stick and platform now with my Super Day. I am just looking to down size.

If a Badlands works for you then rock it!! Honestly Badlands is borderline about to fall into the cheap/WAL-MART backpack category. The quality and materials in their packs has slipped further that way over the years. I love how they hammer and hammer and then hammer some more about their lifetime warranty. Give me a a pick that needs no warranty!!

Can't argue with that logic. If I ever get to where I see myself carrying more into the woods, I'll be trying an X2. But if I was hunting right now i could wear shorts here in East Texas. Lol

I ran a badlands super day (I think it’s the super day) all season without any issues. Only complaint is the material can be a little noisy. Its nice to know they’ll cover you if the occasion arises.

The Pursuit is a great pack IMO. I have 2 of them, in fact, as well as a Diablo Dos.
I had a MR Popup 28. Nice construction but noisy as hell. Even though it was camo, it was in no way made for hunting as far as I am concerned.
Use the pack that works for you. Disregard what is "hot" or popular at any given time. Reviews can be biased on any pack, or other gear.

What works for some, doesnt work for all.
