Im looking for merino wool base layers. What are some brands out there that are more affordable than say Firstlite?

Everthing I have found online is close to the same price as Firstlite.

Costco. Had some merino in solid colours. Has lasted a couple years now no issue. That being said I'm not wearing for a week straight. Just a day at a time. The price difference was significant enough to make me think its a poorer quality. But performance wise I haven't noticed a difference.

REI has some really good base layers. I also picked up a medium weight wool insulation layer from Patagonia this year that I really like.

Recently picked up some fleece Kenyon Polarskins from Sierra Trading Post. Not merino, but they are heavyweight and only $15 for bottoms.
