THANKS! That is a great idea, it does have the same texture as pork to a certain extent.Make some pulled bear sandwiches. You can pick from any number of pulled pork recipes online, make home make bbq sauce or pick up a bottle of your fave.
I usually just brown a shoulder roast (but any of your meat, other than the ground) in a searing hot skillet with some oil, then into the crockpot at like 220 for 6 or 7hr with some broth, onions and peppers and seasoning. Then pull the meat out, shred it, add a bunch of bbq sauce, stir and serve on buns with beans and coleslaw sides.
Sweet and spicy recipes seem to compliment bear meat well!
