Hey guys, totally new to saddle hunting, really enjoying the wealth of knowledge on the forums here! I have settled on the Tethrd Mantis and Predator platform, which are being shipped right now(ordered back at Thanksgiving). I also have ordered Dan Infalts Beast Sticks for climbing, but will not have those until after the season is over, sometime in March. My question is, has anyone tried Jamie Cline's knaider and swaider on the Beast Sticks?

I have not but I use a yates speed wall aider. Can get 24 feet with 3 sticks.

You are using it with the Beast Sticks?
Yes. I hook it to the bottom step, then move it up with me, with a piece of string tied to the aider.

I use the Knaider on my shortened Hawk Heliums off my right calf. I would imagine the Beast steps would be similar as long as the step is thin enough material for good purchase. Works great by slipping over the bottom right step, move up, repeat. No need to remember to pull an aider up each time (tried it and forgot too many times). The knaider follows me up without moving another piece. Can hunt with it on or off.

G2 outdoors posted a video of using the naider/swaider with sticks. He uses two endless loops girth hitched around the rail. I use a N/S with my helium’s and just hook onto the bottom steps. I also don’t use a biner on swaider I use a hook off of a ratchet strap as it’s rubber coated and open ended.

That ended up being my go to method this year. I had no kickouts or slips. The knaider hooks to step well. You need to be careful with the tri-glide on the knaider. Don't mistake the tri-glide for the hook.

Ok definitely going to need some practice before taking it into a hunt. I just want to make sure I don’t purchase something I don’t need. Thanks for the advice

Thanks PFD42. I will look it up and watch it. A video is always helpful

Ok great Kenbama. That’s exactly what I wanted to know. You sticking with it again next year?

I am going to practice one sticking this summer to see if I like it. Otherwise I have no reason to change the system it has served me well.
