Best back band?

Does one manufacturer make a better back band than the next? I have a Cruzr saddle but am looking to get a back band and I'm wondering if there is one that's better/more comfortable than the others.

I personally rarely use a back band. But the shape and operation of most back bands are pretty standard in my opinion. Theirs was created specifically to go with their saddle. It matches logos and appearance as well as function. Their saddles are amazing so there is no reason to believe the back band would not be amazing as well.

In my experience, the differentiating factors between backhands is not comfort but functionality. They are all about the same when it comes to comfort. I have a Cruzr and a Aerohunter backhand and the Cruzr is hands down more simple and efficient. It’s just a piece of webbing that fits into your bridge carabiner. Plastic adjusters that are quiet and easy to adjust when wearing. The Aerohunter is probably made better overall but it just isn’t as simple of a design. I’ve even seen guys modify their Aerohunter back band to emulate the Cruzr.

Honestly. I’d get the retro fit from dryad. Attach to your current saddle and have a hammock when you want to relieve that back pressure or have the extra support.

I just got a latitude backband and like it a lot so far. It seems wider than other brands, folds up to nothing, and is easy to adjust.

I like the one I got from tx5 custom. The way it attaches & adjusts is more ergonomic & intuitive.

Easier to shoot out of also.
