Best crank cocker crossbow (had a shoulder replacement)

I am in the market for a new crossbow. I have mostly recovered from an anatomic total shoulder replacement on my left shoulder and plan on having same done in my right shoulder (most likely before season or after the rut).

I am doing fine. I asked orthopedic surgeon about crank cocking versus using a rope to cock a crossbow. He recommended the crank cocking.

Before I go further, for the love of all that is holy, please do NOT recommend a hickory creek. I will never own one of those abominations.

With that said, I am looking to get a crossbow that has a crank cocker, light, small width and quiet. I like the size of the ravin r18, but it is loud when cocking and has a reflex sight.

Any recommendations for a crank cocking crossbow that is light, small width and quiet?

Much appreciated.

I don’t need fast. 300fps is fine. Any faster and I will just get heavier bolts.

Also, I would like a way to uncock the crossbow without shooting it.

Thx

There isnt a value anywhere like there is in the 10pt Venom X. Has everything you want and then some for 999. Insane value

Thanks! I am going to research it and maybe take a ride to Lancaster Archery Supply if they have that model. I want to get it set up and shooting well before I go get the other shoulder taken care of.

Thanks!

Sub 1-Lite It’s decockable and very easy to cock as it’s made for anyone to be able to. Kids etc. They make a cocking device for it as well.

I'm not as in-the-loop as I used to be, but TenPoint's Accudraw ran the pack when I worked in a shop. It wasn't even close. Very robust unit and I never had a customer report issues with one. TenPoint, Horton, and Wicked Ridge all use the same system. General build quality is also phenomenal. I pushed that lineup hard because they didn't boomerang back to me.

Hope the recovery continues to go well and the second one also.

Thank you. I am doing really great with my operated shoulder. Way more range of motion and strength than my non-operated shoulder, no arthritis pain. Just a little muscle soreness as I am rehabbing.

The venom x that was recommended is ten point and has the acuslide. Maybe it is an update to the acudraw.

I am leaning towards ten point for the crossbow.

It is the way. It's the most xbow you're gonna get for the least amount of money. Even with the speed kinda middle of the road for a crossbow, it hits harder than a dedicated cape buffalo build compound bow. Great trigger, the best crank on the market. Outdoor life did a review on it and averaged a little over 1.5 in group at 50 yards. That's with the pretty average arrows it comes with. Add in some custom arrows down the road and it'll tighten up that much more. Its extremely light for it's class. And a lifetime warranty. You cannot ask for more.
