Best knee pads?

Use half a 2 man treestand thermaseat foam pad (14$) with a simple clip strap around the tree. And I cut a strip for my right knee and have another small velcro strap to wrap around my leg, then it slides down onto my shin when I'm at the top. 1 strip has lasted me a whole season but I 2TC. So dont know how itd handle 1 sticking.

I wore knee pads years ago and hated them so I switched to an inexpensive closed foam pad from Walmart cut down to about 6" width. I had a 1/2" webbing band with a micro cam buckle attached that I absolutely loved; used it for years.

I just bought a $6 set of knee pads from either Ace or Home Depot and used them on 1 hunt so far and they are awesome. They only have a single strap (my original pair I kept from the Marine Corps and they had 2 straps) so it is WAY more comfortable. I may change the velcro attachment to something quieter and am considering laminating something on the face of them if they start to wear out since they are literally just foam.

I can't imagine what you get from a more expensive pair of pads for your knees.

You can just use one of those hot seat pads super cheap with some 550 and a cam jam

I don't like stuff on my legs so I use the pad that comes with my lone Wolf seat.

IS the strap part of your Seat / Knee Cushion? or just an extra?
