Better rope for tether

Is oplux or resc tech a better rope for a tether? What else are guys using they like that's 8mm-9mm and readily available with a sewn eye?

Personaly I cannot tell any difference between oplux and resctech. Both make a good tether.

Have and like both 8mm ropes you mentioned. Recently got some 9mm Bluewater Protac from @Fl Canopy Stalker. Like the feel of it but havent had it on a tree yet. Not sure about getting it with a sewn eye but I bet @Brocky can hook you up if you need that work done.

I've used both and could not really tell a difference. That being said I changed all my rope to 1/2. It is much easier to work with and much stronger.

I use a 8’ length of predator rope with 6” sewn eye on one side and tight eye on the other. It’s beefy but I like the 11.5, I know it’s a mind thing but being as I’m on the tether longer than on my JRB ropes it gives me peace of mind seeing the bigger rope taught in front of me.
