Blackjack crossing WMA Ga

Anybody hunt this WMA this season ?
Are there other WMA archery only spots in Ga?
I plan to do some exploring this summer.
Im not asking for anybody’s honey hole. Just looking for bow hunting friendly public land.

I haven’t but I have plans to hunt the Hilliard tract...eventually. If you check out the regs page for deer season there’s a list of the hunting dates for every wma and which have archery dates or are archery only.

Yes, under the Chattahoochee Fall line there are three VPAs, Ingram, Fort Perry and Bean. All are archery only. Located generally south of Geneva.

Only bucks with at least 4 points (1 inch or longer) on either side or a 15 inch outside spread are legal.

Either Sex s: Sept. 12-Jan. 10

SPECIAL REGS

No ATVs or horses. Hunters must check kiosk daily for prescribed burning schedule and locations.

DIRECTIONS

From JCT Hwy 80 and 355, go south on 355. Tracts are located on Doctor Brooks Rd., Parker Mill Rd., and Hwy 355. Distance to tracts is between 4 and 10 miles from Hwy 80.

There is no checkin on the app or a kiosk. I talked to the regional office. They said go hunt.

i hunt Mcgraw Ford. its bow only but a good bit further north. In my opinion its not worth the trip. Plenty of deer, just lacking the size.
