Got my new bolt for the platform last week and finally putting it on.but the new bolt seems short.it doesn't go all the way thru the nut.seems it should at least go past the nylon keeper in the nut so the bolt doesn't work loose. Anyone else have this.?
 
I had the same. From what I have seen with a nylon lock nut the threads should exit the nut. I voiced my concern to Andre. He said it was perfectly safe but if I was more comfortable with a longer bolt he would send new hardware. I should have it this week.

What contacr number are you using for LWCG? I sent out an e-mail with no response.
 
This XOP button is not a fix! I had three threads once I pushed it through the post-it would end up stripping. This whole stand is unsatisfactory!

I went to Lowe's and bought a 1 inch grade 8 bolt with a hex head. I combined this with a DanO button and a washer and it works really well. The one inch bolt is just a tad bit longer than the bolt LWCG sent me.
I plan to swap out the DanO button for the versa button LWCG sent me so that I can try the Ambush with a mini-versastrap.
