Use guys must have skinny feet. 6” bolt..... 2.5 or 3” in the tree only leaves 3” stickin out. I bought 8” grade 8 bolts

The SH Membership has gone live. Only SH Members have access to post in the classifieds. All members can view the classifieds. Size 11 here, so fairly middle of the road. There's not a whole not of real estate in most climbing sticks. Put a tape on a LW step. Not saying don't do 8s, but I think it's more of a perception thing.

Yup plus longer bolts mean a deeper gutting if you fall
Dude... I did not need to see this, I don't need reminding.
I just cut about a 1/2" off the threads on mine since they say thats the weakest part of the bolt

Size 14 shoe climbing a 6 inch bolt drilled with the ezkut. Felt safe and solid. Now to coat these bad boys
