Still waiting for a response from Zamberlan ( Zamberlan® Vibram® 3D), but in general, boot's with a Vibram type outersole, is it not a good idea to do a lot of walking on paved surfaces (street, sidewalks, etc.) for fear of wearing out the soles faster?

paved surfaces are like sand paper. They’ll wear down any sole faster than dirt. Vibrams are no different. Softer soles will wear faster than harder ones, and rougher surfaces will wear soles faster than smoother ones.

seems obvious and generic but it’s the answer. I minimize wearing boots on pavement when possible.
