Boots

I love my Crispis! I bought the non insulated Idaho’s for the ankle support for my western hunts and this past year I started using them to my saddle hunting and found that they made the whole hunt more comfortable. I actually have a pair of insulated Nevadas in my shopping cart for this year.

I always get boots that I can put my own inserts into. I have to use snake boots so lacrosse . I had a pair of leather danners that were so comfortable. They weren’t snake boots, so cool weather and no hike in high water.

ive got irish setter elk hunters w/ 800 gr. insulation... they're my go to when im walking in more than a mile or in steep terrain... however ive ended up using my Boggs about 70 percent of the time last year... easier to put on and way warmer... and i just bought those as general winter boot... but theyve been great... though ill say i will still be on the search for a go to hunting boot.... ive got a few years worth of hunting budget already planned so new boots will not be in the near future

I liked the looks of those, but how stiff are they? I usually like by boots slightly stiffer than tennis shoes, and these seemed very stiff.
Lowa Renegades are just a frog hair stiffer than tennis shoes and the Crispi Valdres are just a tad bit stiffer than the Renegades. I could easily wear the Valdres as an everyday boot but they do feel a little different when you first start wearing them compared to a tennis shoe.

I bought a pair of Crispi Thor II GTX this fall, awesome boot. I normally wear a 11.5 with a moderately wide foot. Ordered the 11.5 wide and its perfect. Walked around inside the house for about an hour to see if the fit was correct and thats all it took to break them in. Love them.

Hmm, they've really got my attention now. I was really leaning toward Crispi Wyomings, but these seem to fit the bill.

I bought the Muck brand neoprene boots last fall and they are great snow boots. My feet are warm and dry in the snow.

Havent worn any of their other boots but wouldnt hesitate to try any of them based on the ones I have. Obviously, the boot has to work for your foot first and foremost, brand or model be danged.
