Keep in mind that steel shanked soled boots are not good for cold weather as the steel gets cold and makes your feet get cold quicker. For warmer weather their fine and a bit more comfortable as they have more arch support.
 
I like these. I hunt in northern Illinois so needless to say, it gets cold. These are warm, light,and the soles are pretty rigid. One complaint is there seems to be a pinch point around the ankle once and a while.
