I'm shooting a longbow, not that it changes that much. How far of the tree does your bow hang? In my stands, I used a folding arm that put my bow 10 - 12 inches off the trunk. Just curious what's working for you all. My longbow is 58",so I'm wondering if I use a short hook, will the limbs be in my road for when I want to move around just to look or change positions?

I’ve always hung it from the tag end of the loop on my tree tether. Stopper knot holds it. Lift up a few inches and the rope pulls out and falls silently. No need for more equipment.

Huh. That I never would have thought of. I'm all about less stuff to carry... Or lose!

I hang my compound on an HME accessory hook on the tree. I like having it nice and tight to the tree.

Love the knot idea. Also LOVE the trebark camo limbs....dipped or tape?

Before my Bowyer glued up my limbs, I had him ship the veneers to me and I stained them following the natural wood grain patterns. Just darker in some areas and lighter in others.

Awesome, looks a lot like the original trebark, really like it. Mine are a little more funky on my recluse.
