Bow holster

Recently DIYed a bow holster to keep my bow at the ready without having to hold the weight of it. After a few hunts with it i am very pleased. Very simple but I haven’t seen anyone post about it so here is mine:

added a hook to my backband to hold the string. Works pretty well!

That’s cool! What’s the bottom? Kydex? What’s it hooked to that Carrie’s the weight?

Sounds pretty handy, it looks like the hook holds the string and then the bottom of the bow just rest against your leg or hips ....is that right?

Hmmm, that looks interesting. I'd still prefer hanging it on the tree during the lulls but if you have movement in the area, having something like that would allow for a "low ready" without needing to actually hold the weight.
