I have one...I think it totally depends on how you are going to use it. I don't see myself using it at all for whitetail hunting (I'll always have sticks or platform or something strapped to the outside of my pack). I would use it for western hunts and I use it to hang my bow from behind my driver seat in the truck.
 
My buddy has one and loves it. Very functional especially for long walks into your hunting area and hunting out west in the back country. I'm ordering one.
