I dunno how many are from Colorado but I thought I would share this story for all of you, since so many animals can carry bubonic plague

The news comes about one week after officials in China announced a suspected bubonic plague case.

The plague is actually a lot more common than most people think. In the Southwest veterinarians and doctors see it all the time. Nowadays it can be treated with pretty good success though.

According to the article it can be treated with modern antibiotics, however I know we are a hunting community so I don't know how many squirrel hunt in here. Good information to pass on either way

Yeah bubonic plague is kinda like leprosy, not that big of a deal anymore. Might be kind cool to get it just for historical purposes... lol
