The inner layer in the head part is clothing lining a light brown, the brim was double layer camo canvas the fit is great and the sweatband is the last thing to go on, i left just enough room for the band so it will be snug and not blow off. yes it is very addictive, putting the rings of stitching round the brim was great I really got to get to grips with the machine and I now have full control without wandering, in the beginning i did run off. I will start a bino harness with the same material and line with felt, pictures to follow lol69958639_2425518341025829_226683894231990272_n.jpg

cooking on gas now, the start of my binocular harness is now in progress, looking good so far, for the corners I have some nice thin leather that I will stitch into triangles for the finishing touches and the bino pouch will be out of the same material as the hat and felt lined.
