i think so long as the thing is way overbuilt that you're probably okay, especially if the forces are as close to the back metal as possible
 
Squirrel step n pioneer are almost same dimensions but the material is different. I haven't seen any stretching/bending of any kind n I have been doing alot of ground level test, and will do a lot more before using at height. But at 4.50 a step I had to try it.
