To be clear, the guys recommending the pioneer steps… those are the aluminum ones that look amd connect similar to squirrel steps. Those would be my preference. The ones that have the strap underneath really need a somewhat straight even tree or they roll even when cammed really tight. I used pioneer to climb all season no complaints, get the shoulder sling bag from EWO just stuff them that bag
used his black ones on rachet for ROS best I’ve used
i sold my lwcg mini stick that paired with my .5 and use the pioneer even when I use a stand
