Cable aider assistance

At some point my cable aider got deformed. I stow the cable the same way on each stick. Only thing I can guess is that they rode in the backseat funny on the way to hunt.

I’ve been trying to untwist and bend it back to where it doesn’t have this annoying gangsta lean. I’ve even taken them off and tried to make it work. There has to be some magic sequence of twist and leverage to straighten it. May just have to deal with it and make it the bottom stick.

Any ideas?

Might try folding it straight up and using wire ties/nylon ties and let it set for a few days. I imagine that should take the bend out and make it bend out a little. Loving my wire aiders!

Take one side off and twist the other side to make the loop flat again

Search "how to load a snare" on YouTube or a Google search. The aider cable might be too thick but it would be worth a shot.
