I got a Cam Cleat from someone on the site, but it didn't come with any of the paper work so wondering if anyone on here that has one can tell me what side drill bit I should use when mounting it and if there is a place to find or make a new template for putting it on my one stick. Thanks

I have one of the backing plate/templates around from a Harken 150. Here are some photos. They're calling out a 13/64" dia. drill bit with a 1.5" spacing.

I forgot which brand I used, but the template didn’t line up, so I put a nail mark through the cleat, then drilled……I think someone else mentioned he template issue back when I was researching too. I do remember putting it right where the button was and I hitched the cord(amsteel) through one of those rib vents right beside it.

be careful not to overtighten. I followed instructions and tried to tighten until cam began to bind. Well it never did bind and broke the plastic inner piece( pink one).
