I receive pictures of his garage door daily
So is the garage opening at the same time every day like when he leaves for work. If so, I would be in that garage as he pulls off and the door is shutting. Get cameras and walk out.

Let’s all learn a lesson from this. Us honest people may sometimes have to come down to the level of the thieves. Next time this should happen, just call the police and say nothing about the AirTag, just say you witnessed from afar someone stealing your camera and that you trailed them to their house before making the call. They will be forced to do their job if “you see it with your own eyes”!

The fact is…telling the truth and showing the forensic truth should be a useable standard. Unfortunately our legal system no longer works and unfortunately attorneys have made it this way. I don’t trust our legal system just based on your point of misrepresentation…but I totally understand where your coming from. In my case Tactacam provided the SIM card number which only can be traced by police…that’s the convenience of law enforcement being complicit and aiding and abetting. You wonder why people have lost their trust with law enforcement this is a perfect example. However if this would happen to a law enforcement person…all resources would be used to the fullest degree of the law. The reality it’s a two-tierd system

It’s horrible but again the police are just doing what they are told. I completely agree that the system is breaking down and the people that suffer are the citizens. The real issue is the DAs office and the judges (federal and local). If the LEO is told that this will not be pursued as a crime and they make an arrest, they are liable. As you have seen there is a lot of stuff that makes no sense and allows crooks to be crooks. Law enforcement is typically not allowed to talk about things like this because of the backlash to DAs and judges. It’s horrible.
