Can't wait to put some time in this one.

There's a step by step guide too if that tickles your fancy

Leave it to G2 to post a DIY video while im in the middle of that project - you must have seen my shining my spotlight into the sky (batman reference)

Heres the drawer i put together for it, once i start filling it up ill figure out where/if i need partitions.

I made the drawer 24" wide, so ive got close to 24" open to put folding chairs, shade tents, bootlegged jars of moonshine, you name it

Edit *boxes of moonpies* not sure how that got there

No wheels, but it drags in and out easy and wont roll around while im driving

head room is of utmost importance in a camper shell setup. Wishin I had bought one of those tall shells....so I dont care for designs with the raised bed racks. 8' truck beds are also a +

Heres my setup. Storage built on sides, with a Semi truck mattress on some carpeted boards in the middle. Have a deep cycle battery and 1200 watt inverter for power. Smart isolator uses truck's alternator to keep deep cycle charged up. With the truck off I can power 12 volt fans, lights and charge stuff. With the truck running I can run power tools, coffee maker, foreman etc.
For when you get into powering things

How easy is it to dissassemble that setup, specifically the nice carpeted drawers/stand tbing on the sides of your bed?

Is it a nonissue for you, or a downside to that design (if its hard to take out)

about a 15 minute process. The boxes are held in by a couple turnbuckles connected to my truck's cargo tiedown hooks.

Before and after lining the inside of the cab - we ran out of time on the one blank spot ill touch it up later, but it turned out great.

Finished painting too! All I like is one more coat for good measure, but she's road ready.

I tried gloss black first, but it looked pretty rough so i resanded and went with truck bedliner.
