Cool vid on YouTube, how not to highline boys testing biners they bought in Amazon. Lesson for you fledgling saddlers, don't buy cheap junk when you butt, literally, hangs in the balance.
 
Oopps....somebody forgot to lock the gate.....so just the force of the other biner failing caused the gate to open on the second biner not being tested20200729_172110.jpg
 
These guys have a ton of cool content on their channel. I enjoyed this one quite a bit.

Didn't every single one they tested exceed the ratings? All in favor of not buying knock-offs, but these all seemed to perform pretty well.
 
Maybe that was part of the Chinese trade secrets that were stolen in Houston. Maybe no more stealing now that it is shut down.
