Succumbing to my gear addiction, I decided to switch to 8mm ropes this year. I purchased Kong Duck ascenders to go with both the lineman's rope and tree tether. I quickly realized my existing Tethrd carabiners are not optimal to use with the Kong Duck. I've seen a lot of oval carabiner options out there and wondering what everyone else's experience and recommendations were for the Kong Duck?
