Carabiners for the fearfull not for arguing sake

daves afraid that when it snaps it will take out his headlights .figure it out somehow.with treesaddles the carabiner is the week link.every saddle on the market can be used to pull a truck out of a ditch.buy good carabiners and there should be no worries

my partner cant saddle hunt hes to desracted stairing at his bridge and tether thinking this is all thats holding me up.he has 20 years experiance roofing in a safty harnes and lanyard so i dont understand his concern.moral of the story the saddle components are not the week link

i do practice what i preach but dont entend to preach what i practice.i wont tell you that slamming the door on an f150 will blow up the engine .everyone knows that .however i havnt done it.i have not been given a spirit of fear, but of power love and sound mind .......however the sound mind part is disputable

This reminds me of the hydraulic press youtube channel not being able to break a solid paver with their press (or if they did it held an insane amount), but you could crack the same paver with a ball pen hammer no problem with one hit.

A 10 year old with a little hammer can probably hurt you with a strike to head about as much as Mike Tyson can with a punch because the hammer does not give or deform upon impact and also concentrates force.

Or quarter inch amsteel can pick up a truck, but you can cut it easily with a razor blade.

Winching safety 101
Whenever using a winch take the floor mats out if the vehicle and lay them over the winch line....if ur cable/rope does fail the weight will absorb some energy and pull the line toward the ground and make a really dangerous situation a little less dangerous. The heavier the winch weight the better but the floor mats are way better than nothing at all

Edit: the mats will be moving toward the winch and the winch will eat the floor mats if u not paying attention
