I did a search and saw just a few ways of carrying the bag but wanted something a bit more accessible. After a few climbs yesterday, that strap digging into my neck just wasn't gonna cut it. No pun intended. I scrounged around in a bunch of leftover stuff and here's what I came up with. Doesn't slide off my shoulder, way more comfortable and is fully adjustable for more clothes. Hope this can help.

I can’t keep anything on one shoulder either. Never could. Traps are too big I guess. The straps always slide off.
