Cast aluminum steps

I’ve been thinking of casting some aluminum steps and putting them on a cam over Buckle for a platform some thing like the ameri steps maybe built upside down with the strap on top
 
Have you taken a look at the "calling all ameristep users" thread some good design ideas there.
