"Chinaderic" Knockoff Rage Hypodermic Review and Results

Bezos is your man on those, I use them exclusively. I'd post a link but it seems like there's an uncanny correlation with posting links and prices going up...:)
I got to looking and found these:

3,200 reviews and a 4.5 star rating. $2 and some change a piece might convince me to go back to shooting them.

$4-6 to put a broadhead and lighted nock on something you're gonna fling into the yonder at 300+fps is better than $30 I used to spend.

Those were crap for me. Light came on as soon as the arrow is nocked. Practice only now.

My first set was made by aokur and they are solid. Third by guga (have a switch for turning them off without a tiny pointy thing). 5 out of 6 are solid. 6th one is hit and miss on lighting up.

I've always found lighted nocks to be temperamental and fickle. Switch sounds cool. I used to have a doohickey made up that was basically a big fishing jig head with the barb filed off and the hook partially so. I kept it on my keychain ring so I'd always have something to trip the stupid recessed switch.

Another batch just arrived. All the Amanita Arkansanas in my area better be prepared to be Shwack-yna-ed.

As for all the Wujan-turnals I have ordered, they always have to be turned on first rendering them useless in hunting scenario. I have yet to find a lighted knock that was worth the hassle. Havent used them in a few years.

These are the ticket, they come with a tiny screwdriver to switch them off. If your string is served on the thick side, they are a little finicky to get popped on the string without turning them on. I'd assume a heat gun and a little prying would open the nock up a bit if needed.

Interesting. Mine of this brand were loose to put on and even looser to turn on!

These are some of the better lighted nocks that I've tried. This guy produces them himself apparently and they get hand tested. They have a switch on the side to turn them off. Mine fit the shaft well and the string. They aren't as cheap as the Amazon ones but are still cheaper than the name brands.

Not affiliated with them in anyway.

I have been wanting to try those. I'm not on FB, so I didn't like that you had to join a group to order them. Nice to see he's got a website.

Anyone know an amazon seller of knocks that will fit goldtip hunter xts’ with .246 inner diameter? Looking to pick up 6.

Well dang. I shoot an xpedition and have the string served as you described due to the dumb ATR chewing strings on xpedition bows. Last knock offs i bought would always be turned on.
No bueno for hunting.

I'm new here after recently buying a saddle and am learning a lot. Thanks everyone for the advice on the cheap Ebay broadheads. I use wayyyy too many magnus broadheads on hogs here in Texas. Things just got a whole lot cheaper.

Ok, reporting back on the amazon lighted nocks @Nutterbuster put in this thread after putting them through the paces. I feel like they don't go through the full QC process and you may get significant batch variation, but the set I recieved fit tightly into the shafts and snap crisply onto my string. They are a bit easier to set off accidentally than the brand-name nocks (meaning it takes less force to depress the little button in there) but not obnoxiously easy. They are very bright and switch off crisply with either a sharp field point or the little tool. All-in-all I am very impressed for the price and its unlikely I will ever buy another name brand lighted nock since these are about 1/4th of the price for an almost indistinguishable product.

Whats everyones favorite knock off arrow?

Victory decimators go on sell at "Rick's" Sporting goods usually every year for $19.98/half dozen, or they used to. Most people don't like to support them, but of it feels better they are selling them for a loss at that price.

I've used the china rage knockoffs on a few deer and had great results with them. In all honesty if I continue to use them I'd start sharpening them before using.
