Had to get some new rubber mounts for my chippewa tree stand (best treestand ever) cause after 15 years they wore out. I see they now make a saddle hunting platform anybody have one if so what do you think?

If it’s the one I’m thinking of it’s been around for a while now. I haven’t used it but I remember most comments were against its overall weight and the tree attachment method.

They had one out for a while now called the falcon. It’s around the same size as the Out on a limb ridge runner but it’s about 2lbs heavier. I have only seen one and it reminded me of the hawk hang seat just with the post reversed. If you liked their tree stand with the preset cord and slide in place technology, you’ll probably like the platform as well.

Love the tree stand but I’m not sure if the attachment method would work well for a saddle platform once side pressure was applied. There stuff is on the heavy side but very easy to put up so it’s a trade off.
