The pressure washing method is the most efficient way to clean saddles and ropes. This can be done using a pressure washer machine with a strong jet of water to remove all dirt from the saddle's surface. Contact the guys from sparklewash.com that will deal with this problem. The pressure washing method is also very effective in removing grime from any surface and for any other cleaning jobs. When washing saddles, you should never use detergents and softeners; you should also avoid using too many clothes or brushes. Using these items would only make the job take longer and would not cause the maximum effectiveness of cleaning your saddle. If you want to get rid of all dirt, grime, and mud accumulated on your saddle, try the pressure washing method.

This is a bad idea… you’ll push dirt and debris particles into the rope’s core causing damage that you cannot see. The best thing to do is to hand wash them in a bucket of cool water and using actual soap formulated for rope, rinse under the hose really really well then hang it to dry somewhere out of the sun light preferably with a fan blowing air across it
