Climbing foot rope?

Man this set up is nice. Packs down so small. The whole set up fits in my little zipper pouch on the
lattitude dump pouch. Takes up hardly any room. Why not have it with me all the time now. Already
realizing I'm going to put presets everywhere I can. The whoopie footloop from backwoods is
awesome. Works great & can adjust it easily. Holding up good.

Now you guys got me into a saddle, then one sticking, rappelling, & now srt in the mix. Y'all are the
best! So much to learn on here.

One thing I would could use help with. I keep a autoblock attached to my linesman loop. First thoughts
where to use it going going up as well. Well that didn't work as expected. I kept just forgetting about
it & allowing a lot of slack . Any good recommendations on a better way to use the autoblock where
I don't just keep bypassing it on my linemans?

This is what I use. It’s a length of 7/64 amsteel with locked brummel loops on each end. For the foot loop, I first threaded it through some fuel line and once complete, added the bungee cord. That way, it stays secure to my foot and doesn’t slide around.

Where is this dynema footloop from Backwoods Mobile Gear for sale at, I don't see it listed on their website?

I’m about to start my SRT adventure and have a foot loop that comes with your everyday safety harnesses. I was gonna use that, but I have lots of amsteel, including a daisy chain I made…..gonna have to check out making a whoopy thing. It’s so easy to complicate things watching videos on how others do things. I like thinking outside he box and i appreciate the ideas!

Just email Mike at backwoods. He said it was easy to make. Maybe shoot him this link with Pic he made.

I got him to make two for me. One as a backup. Still rocking away with the first one. Dang things are tough for sure. Pretty hard not to carry it at all times the way it packs with the futura.

Shoot him a message. Awesome guy & pretty quick.

Sounds good, I will reach out to him. I definitely would like one or two of them. Thanks

This is what I wound up doing. The 25' of 7/64" amsteel, amsteel splicing needle and shipping was $12. I used high pressure fuel line I had already which is super thick and it worked perfectly. Climbed a tree with is this morning and it worked just like my Singing Rock foot loop however packs away to nothing. I've already made a couple extra things with the remaining amsteel.
