Climbing palm trees

No, I have not tried that. Don't have any palm trees where I hunt. Good luck!

I've climbed palms with WE Stepps and Bullman Pioneer steps. I don't one-stick. Palms are sturdy, though they don't provide much cover. Wear gloves, as someone else said. And they do sway more than a pine or hardwood will. But sometimes a decent palm tree is the only thing you can find with a straight enough trunk and no branches in the way. If you're close enough to other trees, their canopy might provide you enough background cover.

I was wondering if anyone has tried 1 sticking up a palm tree?
I’ve never one sticked a palm tree but I have climbed them with my spurs. They work but be aware of all the small splinters you’ll have in your tether, clothes and straps. They hurt

I watched a Hawaiian dude climb a palm tree barefoot. He wrapped a towel around his feet and shot up the tree like a damn monkey! Seemed pretty mobile to me!
