Climbing Rope

Anyone have a thread title to read about good climbing rope or have any suggestions? I am trying to find good safe rope without breaking the bank, but am realizing I know nothing about climbing rope. I am looking for a linemans belt and or a tether. Thanks all!

For climbing (SRT OR DdRT)? Or for a tether? Or for a linesmans? Or something else?

Something like 11mm will have a lot of safety margin and be compatible with many devices.

It’s hard to find Samson’s predator rope in stock anywhere. I’m using blue water assault line in olive green for DRT. It has been working fine so far.

This prespliced tree stand rope is 1/2" x 30 feet, with a 2" eye splice on one end and a heat seal on the other.
