Climbing stick recommendations

I like my Lone Wolf sticks. XOP also gets a nod for the middle-step locking mechanism. I’m short so I have to get as much stick as possible to reach 20’ or more, and 3-4 of those bad boys gets me there. I carry them with a sling and my Predator hooks to the side of the stack, totaling 10-12 pounds. Not into cutting sticks down just to put an aider on and have extra **** flopping around, and I don’t love the double-step design because my Hobbit-like stride catches my clothes and ropes on the side I’m not stepping to. In terms of overall design, LW and XOP are simple and light. Easy to mod if you want. Relatively cheap, especially compared to Beast or LWCG, or even WE Stepps.
If I were to go for a double-step design, I’d go with Stacked Outdoors or make some with the parts @DanO sells on doublesteps.com.

Hard to beat the hawk helium’s. They’re also extremely great when modified. I myself have cut down lone wolf sticks. I would prefer the double step of the helium. I need to get some double steps from DanO for my LW sticks, unfortunately they don’t fold so they’re not quite as “packable”.

I cut down API sticks there is a tread on here about how to do it.

I like the Stacked outdoors sticks. They stack like legos and if you hit them together they sound like rattling antlers.
