What are you running? Brand, number of sticks, aider (if any), attachment method and avg height.

4 lone wolfs cut to 22ish inches, EWO double steps, and EWO daisy chain webbing, occasionally a single step homemade rope aider. Usually get to 18’ feet fairly easy.

Currently running 3 full size hawks. This off-season I'll be cutting one down to 12-15 inches to make a 1 stick with 2 step aider.

4 novix mini sticks
amsteel daisy chains
Petzl 5 step aider CAYG
4 stick climb 30 ft
3 sticks 22-24 ft

Started out with hawk minis. Sold them.

Now I run Novix minis and like them a lot. No aiders. Also just added set of 3 full size LW sticks for another option. Also no aiders.

Can't declare three times using my LW 3 step sticks a definitive success, but was very satisfied with the experience all be it admittedly a limited one. But I will be using them in the future and plan on equipping them with a EWO's double step on the top and bottom step and a EWO aider on the bottom step to begin with. I have 8 LWCS and 5 got me easily 20' up the tree.

Single stick with a cut down helium and knaider/swaider. Switching to mini beast sticks with either knaider/swaider or versa aider and swaider. Either way I’ll rappel down.

Cam cleat with 1/8 amsteel full bury on helium. 1/8 amsteel daisy chains on mini beast sticks. 4 Beast sticks should get me around 25 ft but will probably single stick with beast stick at times also.

Just curious how the hell are you guys getting so high with 3 or 4 sticks lol...im curious how high shorter folks like myself are getting i was just looking in lwcg sticks as im still trying to figure out what climbing method im going to use next season with my saddle it looks like i might be able to hit 19 ft with 4 lwcg double steps and 20" cable aider i want to be able to get to 25' im not sure if additional aider will help as im only going to be able to reach so high to set the stick my whole purpose for wanting to get into saddle hunting is packing in light and getting in those big split trunk trees that my climber can't i wanted to use spurs or single stick to be as light as possible as some walks in are over 2 mi. But i dont see how a single stick will get me into those trees easily and im not completely sold on spurs for the amount of noise they may potentially make...my goal is maximum height with minimum weight maybe those single steps might be the best option

I’m 5’9” and using a knaider or versa aider on one foot and a swaider on the other with the mini beast sticks to get about 6 1/4 ft per stick.

I'm 5'5" I use 4 LWCG double step sticks with a 2 step movable aider. Both steps on movable aider are 15". I'm getting to 24 ft. with this setup.

4 - X-stand Velocity Sticks cut down to 19" with 20" webbing aider and stacking cups (JR-####) accomplishes an easy 15'. Simple pull straps and a OOAL Scout. Fits on my backpack real nice.

FYI, the standoffs kinda suck, but I'm not willing to drop an extra bill for stand offs just yet.

Custom Single stick:
Mini API Hunt'n Stick
Angled Scout Platform
Displaced Step Mounted on Back Side
Tube Filled with Expanding Foam
Wrapped in Camo Hockey Tape
Custom 2 Step UHMWPE Rope Aider

Climbing height: As high as you dare...

3 full length Hawk Heliums, 1/8” Amsteel daisy chains, 2 step webbing aider on bottom, single step webbing aider on other two sticks. Weighs a tad over 10 lbs. I use this system when hunting with my daughter who is still in a lock-on.

Shikar-mini with angled scout on bottom, displaced step moved to top, Schaefer cam cleat w/7mm rope, 3-step rope aider on bottom. This is my favorite system. Weighs just over 3 lbs.

Im 5’10
4 novix mini sticks is about 6 lbs
Another 1lb or so for a solo scout
A 5 step movable petzl aider
You get about 8 foot per stick.
Ive found that 30-32 feet with 4 sticks can be a little high for most situations.
So I usually only bring 3 sticks.
3 sticks + platform im hunting 24-26 feet.
Aider lives in your dump pouch and you don't even know its there.
Having a 4th stick is nice if you wanna get super high or have to climb a funky tree, or to put it on the opposite side of your platform on a big tree to be able to walk around it.

I feel a little boring with my set up after reading this.
4 beast sticks.... That’s it. Stock sticks striped and nothing else. I also own 3 full length heliums but have never used them. I am planning on adding a cable aider.

Don’t feel bad. I don’t care for aiders much unless it’s just a one time boost from the ground and that’s it. Otherwise I just have 4 Novix sticks that I use just as is and they get me plenty high in my opinion. Also have 3 full size LW sticks I use sometimes if I’m not worried about packing down small. Considering trying some Beast sticks possibly soon.

I'm 6'2" use five 32" long LWCS
set 1st one about 24" off the ground
Then based on 20" BTWN sticks and 30" for each stick=20'
I do plan on trying out an aider on my bottom stick if after I use it enough to become absolutely confident in it I will try an Aider on my second stick
The two with 4 sticks should still get me 20' up with having to carry and set one less stick
If need more hight will go back to 5 sticks with 2 aiders that should get me 24' up.

I use one stick climbing method with a beast mini stick and backwoods climbing aider 3 steps that's 64" .
