Climbing stick strap storage?

I just got some long daisy chain straps for my climbing sticks, but now I'm wondering how everyone packs these to the tree? Do you wrap them around the sticks or take off and store in a pouch? Any ideas are appreciated.

I got some elastic paracord sorta stuff and tied a small loop on the end. I wrap the straps around the upper and lower standoffs and take the tag end back to the versa with the stretchy stuff.

wrap then around the sticks and add a small shock cord loop to the end of the strap so that you can fasten the strap when in transport mode.

Same. Works perfect.

I wrap them around the stick. I put one end on the versa button and the other end over a standoff no elastic shock cord needed.
