Climbing with just a platform

Had another thought... I use 3 sticks with aiders and can get to 22 - 24', with this I can climb as high as I like or until I run out of tree! Yeah I know that's high enough but I sometimes hunt steep hillsides which puts me eye level with deer on the higher trail so being able to sneak up higher and keep out of sight opens the door to more opportunities.

Can you take pictures of your set up and how it's changed? I read in your post when you invented this method that you'd changed some stuff. I'd also like to give you full credit for letting me be aware that this forum existed. Searching for ways to access a tree with my web last year I found this forum. I now check this site daily, several times a day to be truthful. Have sticks, bottom of climbing stands, spurs, and an SRT set up. I love SRT, but having trees set is a must. Have graduated to a sit drag for most of my hunting and only use the web from time to time. Thanks.
I’ll have to take some pictures when I get a chance. In that video I used rope halters, but for my hunting rig I use 5/8 climbing rope with a prussik loop. My foot board is a 19” piece of oak off a pallet that I sanded the edges on so it is rounded. Very simple, yet very effective. I need to do a new video to show how I maneuver around limbs with a second carabiner. Also simple, yet effective.

Very interested in seeing how to maneuver around limbs with this

Na Man, just messing with you. I've heard this idea was a little difficult but how to video of this if you had something figured out would have been great.

Right there with ya, brutha. And for future reference I’ve spent too much time in locker rooms and all male military billets so let it fly, you ain’t going to hurt my feelings and I’m not going to take it that way anyhow
